HEATERS

If you need radiant heaters, you've come to the right place.

If you need heat for commercial use, think of Hotsy of Memphis. We carry a range of indoor and outdoor heaters that cover just about every heating need. The heaters we carry deliver radiant heat generated by infrared radiation. These heaters come in two versions: portable radiant heaters and forced air indirect-fired heaters, and each is suitable for different uses.

The idea of electric heaters is a good one considering the environment. However, the power equivalency between the two fuel sources isn’t clear, and often the areas to be heated don’t have the electricity available to power electric heaters. Heaters fueled by petroleum products have become much more efficient and environmentally friendly in recent years.

Keeping indoor and outdoor spaces warm during the winter can be challenging, especially if you

need to heat a large area. You may need a heater for a warehouse, an outdoor event, a construction site, or an animal pen.

Portable Radiant Heaters

Radiant heat travels in a straight line, unlike the hot air generated by a conventional heater, where a fan blows air across a heating coil. It is unaffected by wind or cold ambient air, and the heat penetrates evenly like sunlight.

Since infrared heat can penetrate objects, the targeted surface and object become warm and dry in a uniquely different way than conventional heatersusing heated air. These heaters are great for use in wash bays, warehouses, outdoor events, and sidelines, for curing concrete, heating at a construction site, warming sewers for work crews, or even heating animal pens.

You have flexibility in your choice of fuels and can opt for kerosene or diesel.

Veloci Portable Radiant Heaters

These portable radiant mobile heaters stand out in a class of their own. Their innovative technology eliminates the refractory material cone surrounding the conical combustion chamber in competitors’ units. They feature a metallic, forced-air insulation pocket between the combustion chamber and the external protection cone.

The burner fan blows cool air through the pocket and pushes it into the environment you are heating. This heating methodis a hybrid heating style that uses radiant and forced air heat. This innovative technology overcomes the well-known problem of fragility within the cone of competitors’ models while providing a safer unit due to the air-insulated cone.

These heaters have several features that make them highly effective, economical, and safe:

  • Quiet

  • Approved by CSA

  • Acceptable for agriculture and construction

  • 99.9% efficiency for clean combustion

Veloci’s Fire155 Heater is a revolutionary Radiant Mobile heater that stands in a class of its own as the largest in the world. The innovation of the Italian Fire 155 Infrared Heater lies in the elimination of the refractory material cone that surrounds the conical combustion chamber which is typical of competitors’ units. The Fire 155 features a metallic, forced air insulation pocket between the combustion chamber and the external protection cone. The cooling air is blown through the pocket by the burner fan and pushed into the environment being heated. This method of heating, effectively serves as a hybrid style of heating through the use radiant and forced air heat. This innovative technology over-comes the well known problem of fragility within the cone of competitors’ models while providing a safer unit when in operation due to the air insulated cone.

Quick Specs:

  • Max BTU – 115,160

  •  Air cooling system

  • Fuel consumption – 1.1 gallons/hour
  • Tank size – 17.2

  • Run time on high – 17.2 hours

  • Weight – 161 lbs.

  • Fuel – kerosene or diesel

Veloci’s Flame 115 Heater is an outstanding addition to a contractor’s arsenal as a patented mid-level Radiant Heater. The innovation of the Italian Flame 115 Infrared Heater lies in the elimination of the refractory material cone that surrounds the conical combustion chamber which is typical of competitors’ units. The Flame 115 features a metallic, forced air insulation pocket between the combustion chamber and the external protection cone.

  • Max BTU – 154,237

  •  Air cooling system

  • Fuel consumption – .85 gallons/hour
  • Tank size – 11.35

  • Run time on high – 13.4 hours

  • Weight – 92 lbs.

  • Fuel – kerosene or diesel

Indirect Heaters

Forced Air Indirect-Fired Heating is essentially a mobile furnace. Veloci’s Blaze line is an Indirect Forced Air heater manufactured in Italy. These units have a separate internal chamber where combustion by-product is isolated and expelled through a chimney which means that the hot air forced from the outlet is 100% clean heated air. Veloci’s Blaze 100 heater has a three chamber design that captures more heat for the forced air to exchange. This, in-turn, requires a larger fan which allows for an increased output of Cubic Feet of air per Minute (CFM). Compare the Blaze series CFM to any box store heater’s CFM and you will see Blaze units move clean heat at an exponentially higher rate. There is no use in having a high BTU unit if you cannot effectively move the heat into the desired environment. When purchasing an Indirect Fired Heater, consider the space you are looking to heat in cubic feet by measuring the length, width, and ceiling height of the space to be heated.

Diesel Indirect Heaters

Indirect heaters generate a flame in a burn chamber, which warms a heat exchanger. An intake vent pulls in fresh air and warms it as it passes the heat exchanger. These heating units typically remain outside and pump warm air into interior spaces through ducting.

Indirect heaters are safe and clean for indoor spaces because fumes are exhausted outside through a chimney, eliminating the risk of carbon monoxide concentration in the enclosed space. They create dry air for applications like curing concrete in cold temperatures, but they’re also great for many other applications:

  • Construction

  • Restoration

  • Farming

  • Pest control

Veloci Indirect Diesel Heaters

The Veloci Blaze is a line of forced-air heaters manufactured in Italy. Forced-air indirect-fired heaters are essentially mobile furnaces. These units have a separate internal chamber that isolates combustion by-products that are then expelled through a chimney, so the hot air forced from the outlet is 100% clean heated air.

Veloci’s Blaze heaters have a three-chamber design that captures more heat for the forced air to exchange. This configuration requires a larger fan, which generates an increased output of Cubic Feet of Air per Minute (CFM).

Compare the CFM of the Blaze series to any box store heater’s CFM, and you will see that the Blaze units move clean heat at an exponentially higher rate. Why have a high-BTU unit if you can’t effectively transfer the heat into the desired environment?

When purchasing an Indirect Fired Heater, consider the space you need to heat in cubic feet by measuring the length, width, and ceiling height of the area to be heated. These heaters are highly effective, economical, and safe:

  • Quiet

  • Approved by CSA

  • Acceptable for agriculture and construction

  • 99.9% efficiency for clean combustion
